Class of 2010: The Jim Stefani 600 – Linebackers

Here is an early look at my top linebackers in the Class of 2010.  Please note that this is an early list of the top prospects in the Class of 2010.  My rankings/ratings change on a daily basis as more information on prospects is collected.

These lists are a “snapshot” of where I currently rank the prospects.  My job is to identify and evaluate prospects for colleges and universities before anybody else.  My top 600 has been put together after many months of evaluating over 15,000 Class of 2010 prospects.

Attempting to rank the top 600 juniors in the nation is, of course, not an exact science.  Even NFL scouts make mistakes when evaluating prospects for the NFL Draft who are six or seven years older, physically developed and playing against superior competition.  The purpose of my ratings is to provide colleges with a sense of order to the chaos of the early stages of identifying prospective college football players, no more, no less.

It would be presumptuous to take these ratings as the final say on the prospects.  Some prospects have yet to emerge, others are still progressing while some may no longer improve.  When all is said and done, however, I can assure you that nobody has spent as much time and effort in identifying the top underclassmen in the nation as yours truly.
